Stud-shaped earrings
The most popular and widespread one. The needle of the earring is passed through the ear piercing and fixed with a bracket behind the ear. Generally, when piercing the ears, nail-shaped earrings are used.

Two spiked earrings with dangling earrings
Under the ear beads, there is usually a string of jewelry as embellishments. Lengths vary, some only 2 cm below the ear beads, others reaching the shoulders. Longer dangling earrings, usually used in more solemn occasions.

Hoop earrings
A large 360-degree circle, with an opening in the middle, through the ear piercing. In ancient China, there was a kind of hoop earrings made of notched jade rings, called Yujue, and some scholars believed that wearing Yujue required wearing a large ear piercing, while others believed that it was clip-type.

Hanging earrings
The design does not require ear piercing, only hanging on the back of the ear. This type of hanging earrings is also becoming more and more popular.

Clip-shaped, magnet earrings
For the convenience of those who do not have ear piercings, some ring-shaped earrings are designed to be clip-shaped, with ear beads between them. Granular or nail-shaped earrings generally cannot be designed to be clip-shaped, so it is necessary to take advantage of the characteristics of magnets to hold the ear beads. The magnet earrings are a earring with a magnet attached to the outside, and a mini magnet with opposite magnetism on the inside, and the two magnets firmly hold the ear beads.

Silicone earrings
Instead of clamping the ear, these earrings use the friction between silicone and the skin so that the earrings do not fall off. Compared with other clip-on earrings that are painful to clamp at every turn, silicone earrings are unlikely to be painful.
